To make sure your vehicle can cope with the extra load, you need to check item O.1 or O.2 on your car's registration document, which tells you the gross weight of your braked trailer. A light trailer, i.e. with a permissible total weight (GVW) of up to 750 kg, is attractive not only due to its low weight, but also easier maneuvering and much lower requirements for garage storage. If you don't have a lot of space to store your vehicle, a lightweight trailer will be the perfect solution for you.
